A picture of a diagram of the boat locating the position of the 12 types of wood that were used in its construction and repair.  They included: Christ thorn, Carob, Aleppo Pine, Hawthorn, Cedar, Tabor Oak, sycamore, Laurel, Willow, Judas Tree, Plane Tree, and Atlantic Terebinth.

Because of the presence of so many types of wood, it is thought that the boat exhibits numerous repairs.  Some think that the boat became unusable and was abandoned along the Lake Shore.

If you download the Max Size (see upper right box), you will be able to read the chart to the right of the boat.

The diagram is on display in the museum of the Yigal Allon Center.
