View looking northwest at the Late Bronze Age Palace Complex.
In the foreground is the large courtyard that was open to the sky. Right of center is the black basalt porch of the entryway into the palace—with steps and column bases. Above the center of the image the rebuilt gate complex is visible. On the left (south) side of the image, an excavated area has been covered with plastic in order to preserve the remains from the harsh winter elements.
