View in the village of Haran of mud brick buildings.
Note the details of the beehive dwellings — the bricks in the cone–shaped roofs prior to plastering. Also note the building in the right side of the image. The mud bricks have been plastered over to protect them from disintegration by the meager rains in this area. Note especially the holes in the wall where the bricks are exposed. Left in this state the building will eventually collapse.
