A view of the Nymphaeum/Hydreion/Water Fountain that was located on the north side of Curetes Street. Clearly visible is the large rectangular basin that was in front of the fountain. It was built by T. Flavius Meander around A.D. 200. There are indications that an earlier fountain also stood at this spot.
