View of the junction of one of many water channels at Hierapolis that carried the thermal water to a variety of destinations. At one time it was thought that this warm water was transported 6 mi. [9.5 km.] to Laodicea — “you are neither cold nor hot … you are lukewarm …” (Rev 2:15–16) — but this is not probable.
