View looking east with the Tomb of Philip (on the left) that was incorporated into a fifth century Byzantine basilica-style Church. Above and right of center notice the apse of the church. In the foreground is the central nave of the church. The alignment of the church is actually to the southeast, not to the east, as is usual. This is probably due to the local terrain on which it was built.
Notice also, the two upside down capitals on the right side of the image—inscribed with crosses.
