The recently refurbished interior of the 14th century mosque at Behramkale. In the center note the Mihrab that directs the faithful towards Mecca. On the right is the Minbar from which "sermons" are delivered and on the left a platform for directing the prayers. Note also the rug with its individual markings where each person should pray.
