A statue of Nike found in the Sallustian Gardens, dating to about 480 B.C.—the Classical Period in Greece.
The long formal vertical lines indicate that this sculpture has not moved to far from the previous, now ending, Archaic Period. Compare for example the Peplos Kore from the Archaic Period found in Athens.
This statue is usually displayed in the Capitoline Museum in Rome.
