A statue of Saint Bernard along the road into Tre Fontane. St. Bernard, a Cistercian saint is believed to have stayed here during his visit to Rome in 1138–40.
The first three lines of the Latin inscription below the statue reads: Hearken, my son!/Unhesitating obedience!/Pray and Work!
