A statue of the Madonna in the courtyard of the Basilica of the Annunciation.

Her right foot is crushing the head of a serpent.  Over her right shoulder is the "Christogram" consisting of the Greek letters alpha and omega (the beginning and end of the Greek alphabet; Revelation 1:8; 21:6; 22:13) within a chi (X) rho (P) (the first two letters of the word christos [= Christ/Lord).
