View looking north at the area of the Roman Basilica that is located on the east side of Sebaste. The bus in the right (east) side of the image is in the area where the large forum—now a parking lot—is located.
This version of the form dates to the reign of Septimius Severus (ca. AD 200). It may rest on earlier—Herodian—foundations.
