View looking east at the “theater” of Knossos. This “theater” was composed of two sets of steps (seats?) that were aligned at right angles to each other. The woman in white and red in the image is standing on a “podium” that separates the southern steps (right) from the eastern steps (left).
Possibly ritual performances and/or dances were performed in the open area in the foreground.
