An almost life–size statue of the Hygeia, the daughter of Asclepius.  She is often depicted with a snake coiled about her body or arm (as here).  The serpent is a symbol of "resurrection."  However, she is "normally" depicted with the snake "drinking" (?) out of a cup, but here the snake looks like it is being fed an egg.
