View of a reconstructed timber, mud, and plastered roof. Due to the composition of such a roof in the late winter and spring grass would grow on it. However, since the roots of such grass were not deep, when the hot dry spring winds came, this grass would quickly wither. Note how the "wicked" are compared to such grass (Psalm 129:5–8; Isaiah 37:27).
