View looking east at an Israelite House that was found at Haluqim, a site in the Negev Highlands, south of Beersheba, near Sede Boqer.
The three parallel units run from upper left toward lower right, and are divided by the standing square columns. These columns supported the roof, or the second storey of the house. The fourth unit is closest to the viewer, and is perpendicular to the above three units, running from lower left to the upper right portion of the image.
One corner of the house is clearly visible in the lower center of the image.
A number of these houses have been found at Haluqim and vicinity. Haluqim is located at Palestinian Grid Reference 1337.0383.
