View of the two lions—or lionesses—that are carved in high relief into a triangular shaped slab of grey limestone.  The slab is 12 ft. [3.7 m.] wide at its base and is about 10 ft. [3 m.] high.

The lions face each other—their heads are missing— and are each resting their front paws on side–by–side altars that in turn support a column.  The column tapers at the bottom, like columns from the palace at Knossos.  The symbolism of the grouping is not completely clear.
