View looking down from the eastern side of the Lower Terrace of the Northern Palace at a portion of the small private bath. The stone vaulting covers some broad stairs that lead down into one of the rooms of the bath.
This Roman Bath included tepid, cold, and hot rooms. The skeletal remains of three individuals, identified as rebels were found in the bath, along with fragments of clothing, sandals, arrows, and pieces of mail armor. Even plated of a woman's braided hair were preserved.
