View from the west looking east up the remains of the Roman ramp (in the sunlight). This ramp reached to within 150 ft. [45 m.] of the top of Masada. Also visible are some of the remains of the walls on the top of Masada.
The path at the lower left of the image leads off to the 12 cisterns that were carved into the side of Masada.
