View looking west from inside Dominus Flevit. In the center of the image the “golden dome” of the Muslim shrine is visible. Behind it, to the left, is the bell tower of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and to the right of the Dome of the Rock are two grey domes of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
The eastern portion of the Old City wall is visible in the lower portion of the image. On the left, behind the cross are thorns from a “crown of thorns bush.”
