A model of the Upper Forum (aka Agora and Upper Market) of Ephesus, looking Northwest. On the model, from right to left: #8 Upper Baths, #7 Odeum, #9 Prytaneum, #6 Agora (Augustus) Temple, and #5, the Forum/Agora/Market surrounded on three sides by a Stoa.
On the far left is the Temple of the Sebastoi (aka Temple of Domitian). The street leading northwest out of the Forum goes down to the Lower City. It is known as “Cureites Street” (aka the ancient Embolus).
