View looking east northeast down the length of the 230 ft. [70 m.] long nave of the Hagia Sophia. Note the apse of the church, just right of center, and in the semi dome above it Virgin and Child.
In the Muslim rondel to the right of the apse the arabic reads "Allah" and to the left "Muhamed." Note also the upper gallery on the left (north) side of the church.
