Mt. Olympus

View looking south from the upper city of Thessaloniki. The visibility was very clear on this day, and the snow-covered peaks in the distance are those of Mt. Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece that is located to the southwest of Thessaloniki.

In the middle of the image boats in the port of Thessaloniki can be seen and in the lower portion of the image buildings of the modern city are visible.
