Ramun

View in Eastern Benjamin looking west at the Palestinian village of Ram(m)un. This may be near the "rock of Rimmon" to which 600 Benjamintes fled after being defeated by the rest of Israel (Judges 20:45, 47; 21:13). It is located 11 min NE of Jerusalem.

Modern Rammun is a Muslim village. Its "twin" is Taibe a few miles to the north which is a Christian village.
