Gate Tower 2

Another of the 46 ft. [14 m.] in diameter towers that guard the west gate of Sebaste. The tower is said to date to the reign of Herod the Great (ruled 37–4 BC). It rests upon a square foundation that dates to the Hellenistic Period.
