Korczak & Children

Sculpture in bronze of Janusz Korczk and the Children of the Ghetto. This Polish–Jewish educator, Dr. Henrik Goldschmidt, shelters them in his arms. Korczak and the children of his orphanage were sent to the Treblinka death camp on August 5, 1942.
