View looking east from Jezreel directly down (east) the Harod Valley. On the right (south) side of the image, the tree-covered lower slope of Mount Gilboa is visible. In the far distance, the hills of Gilead (east of the Jordan Valley) are barely visible.

The road from Jezreel leads directly to Beth Shan and on to Transjordan (Ramoth Gilead).
