Waterfall

View looking west from the gate area, uphill, at the water cascading down the hill. This water flowed through the channel over which the road into the city ran.

The water that you see is not a natural water flow - the picture was taken in July! I believe that the city of Tiberias is providing this water, which in fact does flow past the outer gate, to supply the water park that is to the east of the antiquities! But in ancient times, during the winter rains, water would have been flowing in a similar manner.
