Hellenistic Temple

The column base and column drums are from a temple dedicated to Zeus that was built here during the Hellenistic area.

This is the same area where Bronze Age temples and a Byzantine church (removed by excavation) were discovered. Obviously, the "religious" character of the area was preserved through the centuries!
