Anchor Stock

View of a large "anchor stock" that is on display in the Museo Nazionale della Magna Grecia in Reggio di Calabria.

Note especially that it is inscribed with the name of the Greek deity Hera—spelled out in upper case Greek letters, but in reverse order! — "ΑΡΗ" — Hera was the wife of Zeus and the goddess of women, marriage, family, and childbirth.
