Statue of Poseidon

A marble statue of Poseidon—the god of the sea, storms, and earthquakes (Roman Neptune). Note the (partially preserved) trident in his left hand and the dolphin by his right calf.

It was found at Sagalassos. It dates to the first half of the second century A.D.
