Sundial

A Roman sundial from the third century A.D. Note the copper rod that protrudes from the top center and the shadow that is cast over the "D" portion of the dial. This photo was taken at 12:20 PM on January 9, 2015. [I am not certain how much care was taken in the placement of this sundial]
