Baths of Faustina 1

photo

View looking north at the southern entrance to the Baths of Faustina. Faustina was the wife of the emperor Marcus Aurelius (A.D. 161–180) and she is the one that financed this large complex. Portions of the walls of this bath are preserved to the second story.
