Obelisks

View looking south at the obelisk of Thutmose III and beyond it the obelisk called the “Column of Constantine Porphyrogenitus.” The later is sometimes called the “bronze obelisk” for it is thought that it was sheathed in bronze at one time. The date of its original construction is not certain.
