Reconstructed Roman Bath 2

This picture is of a modern reconstruction of a Roman Bath—mini-sized! The apse on the left is where an interior "hot tub" was located and the orange roof on the right is where the "furnace" was located.

After its construction, using traditional Roman methods, it actually was used! This bath is located along—south of—the old Izmir to Sardis highway on the west side of the Pactolus River.
