View looking south at one of the four chambers that line the sides of the Iron II gate at et–Tell. Compared to other chambered gates of the Iron Age, these “rooms” are very long—the woman in red is standing at the entrance to the “room” while the woman in blue is standing at the rear of the room.
This gate is very well–preserved—at places to heights of over 6ft. [1.8 m.].
