View looking northwest down into the orchestra area of the Roman Theater at Phaselis. The cavea (seating area) of this theater is built into the western side of the acropolis and borders one of the main streets that passes through Phaselis. The theater could seat about 1,500 people.
The stage area (skene) on the left (west) side of the image is quite well–preserved.
