History of Israel — I taught this course for many years to University Students and approached the topic chronologically—moving from the earliest to later periods.  I have begun to assemble recommended images for each of the historical periods that I covered.  So here goes.

Early Bronze Age (EBA, 3150–2200 B.C.)     Completed 25 August 2013.

Intermediate Bronze Age (IBA, 2250–2000 B.C.; possibly the time of Abraham)     Completed 25 August 2013.

Zondervan Atlas of the Bible (Carl Rasmussen) is not only helpful for Geographical studies, but also for Old Testament and New Testament classes on the History of Israel contains relevant text, maps, and pictures.  The "Geographical" section in the Atlas is especially helpful, compare to other atlases.

For very accurate maps of Israel and Jordan see the 7 map set (Regional Study Maps) available from BiblicalBackgrounds (Jim Monson and Steve Lancaster) along with all their interactive materials.
