View looking west at the semi-circular marble basin in the crypt of the Church of St. Demetrius. It is believed that this was originally a Roman bath in which St. Demetrius was imprisoned prior to his martyrdom. It is located under the apse of the church.
In the lower right of the image a large stone basin is visible.
