View of a portion of the seldom–seen north face rock scarp of the Antonia Fortress. This rock scarp is visible in the Armenian tourist shop just at the foot of the staircase that leads up to the Umariyya Boys' School. Notice all of the icons for sale. The circular plate hanging on the rock scarp is inscribed with the name "Mohammed!"
When Paul was accosted by an angry mob he was taken into custody by the Roman garrison located in the Antonia Fortress (Acts 22:27–23:22)
