View looking south at a portion of the six-chambered Solomonic Gate that was found at Hazor. There were three chambers, or rooms, on each side of the road that led from outside the city (left) to inside the city (right).
Note the yellow fence in the center of the image. In back of this fence is one chamber, and to its right and left are the two other chambers of the south side of the gate. In front of it, the pathway leads into and out of the city.
In the lower-left quadrant, the square area is an external tower attached to the gate, and to its right are visible two chambers — of three — on this north section of the gate.
