View of the indented libation niche that is just south of the south entrance to the temple.
This niche contains the relief of a man wearing a toga. At the bottom of the image his feet are noticeable. The figure holds a wreath in his right hand (on the left side of the image). In his left hand (on the right side of the image) a long staff is visible.
This niche may have been used for the pouring libations of wine, oil, or the blood of a sacrificed animal.
