View of the lower Early Bronze Age city. Visible on the left center side is a portion of the 10 ft. [3 m.] wide 3900 ft. [1,200 m.] long city wall. The paths of city streets from 2800 B.C. are visible as is a reconstructed "broad house" in the upper right of center of the image. In the lower right quadrant of the image the stone constructions are near where the water collecting system of Arad was located.
Note especially how close to the surface the Early Bronze Age strata were. Basically, sweep away the soil and you’re back to almost 2800 B.C.!
