View of the entrance to the Senate House—usually called a Bouleuterion but also called a Gerontikon (Council of Elders) at Nysa. In the foreground is part of the porch of the Bouleterion.
The structure is almost square, with a semi-circular interior seating area. It had a capacity of about 700 people. This version of the Bouleuterion was constructed in the second century AD. In the front was a two-story scaenae frons.
