View looking southeast at the eastern stoa of the large Agora/Forum at Nysa. The open space of the Agora is the area in the lower right portion of the image—most of which is unexcavated. The Agora's interior dimensions are 290 x 340 feet. It was first constructed in the first century BC.
Note the steps that lead up to the covered portico. The colonnade is a double stoa in the Ionic style.
