A detail of one of the twin peaks of Mount Thecla (Turkish Takkeli Dağ) is located a few miles to the west of Konya on the road that leads to and from Pisidian Antioch.
The name "Thecla" comes from the Apocryphal work called the Acts of Paul and Thecla. In the story, the first meeting of Paul and Thecla was in Iconium where Thecla lived.
