View from the seating area of theater at Aizanoi down towards the orchestra area and the relatively well-preserve skene (back drop) of the theater. Beyond the skene, the length of the stadium is visible—up to the small white vehicle, just above the center of the image.
The only other such combination of theater plus stadium is found at Jericho (Palestine/Israel) and was built by Herod the Great (37–4 B.C.).
