View looking east at the hot room of Terrace House #3. Note the pillars that support the floor. The "furnace" was located in the room at the lower portion of the image and the hot air circulated between the columns of the caldarium heating its floor! Note also the remnants of the marble paneling on the wall—not to mention the fragments of the frescos on the walls!
