View looking west southwest at the western harbor and Cape Krio. This harbor was used for military purposes and just right of the center of the image note the break where ships would enter. This harbor was used for military purposes for triremes.
In the lower left portion of the image is the isthmus (where ancient docks were located) that connects the mainland (from which the picture was taken) with the (former) island of Cape Krio. The west end of Cape Krio is marked by a white lighthouse.
