View of Tyche the goddess of fortune holding the child Plutos, the god of plenty. The huge statue dates to the second century A.D.
Note the color of the paint still adhering to the statue. Behind the head of the child Plutos note the cornucopia that holds an abundance of fruit and flowers. Note too the crown of acanthus leaves on Tyche’s head.
