View looking south southwest at the mole that protected the Southern Harbor—the largest of the three at Phaselis. Note the small boats just this side of the mole, as well as the line of rocks projecting from left to right into the harbor. This line of rocks is the remnant of one of the quays of the harbor.
The large ships that would dock here could be off loaded by smaller boats or in some instances would dock at the quays themselves.
